Our Mission

Welcome to ARUSD Early Learning

At ARUSD we believe every child deserves a quality education, especially in their early years. Children are born learners, and they develop rapidly in their early years. Our programs focus on developing foundational skills, fostering social-emotional growth, and preparing children for life-long education. We strive to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Our Early Learning Partners work with the district departments to support families. Our community-based organization partners help provide access to high-quality learning opportunities within ARUSD - including Family Resource Centers and Preschool Partnerships.

Our Educational Focus

Developing the Whole Child

A young boy in the foreground gives a peace sign while playing with wooden blocks, as other children build and play in the background of a classroom.

We create positive conditions for learning that support children to develop as life-long learners by emphasizing school readiness skills, teaching programs that incorporate social emotional learning, and providing access to resources and support for families.
